Our quality policy
At all stages our quality objectives are complied with and our quality management system applies to all products and the entire process from raw material received, storage, production, labelling, packaging and dispatch at our warehouses.
Quality of raw material
We guarantee comprehensive quality control and only work with approved suppliers who have to meet our product specifications at all times.
Due to intensive controls, analysis of raw material and regular supplier audits we can keep the quality of the raw material at highest level.
• Carefully selected ingredients, mainly from organic farming
• No use of preservative agents or artificial colorants
• Strict product control and analysis executed by the raw material suppliers ensure that especially our organic products are GMO free in accordance with European legislation for organic products
• Full declaration of all ingredients, allergens and risks of cross-contamination
To reduce the risk of cross-contamination with peanuts we have adapted all our recipes and do not use any peanuts in our production any more.
CO2 pressure treatment
To maintain the quality of raw material and to avoid infestation we have the possibility to use pressure treatment with natural carbon dioxide in our production site in Adorf.
IFS and Organic certification
Based on a HACCP system our quality management system is regularly controlled by external auditors and has led to gaining and maintaining a “Higher Level” accreditation in “International Food Standard”.
Our organic production is certified according to EU Regulation 834/2007 BCS Öko-Garantie (DE-ÖKO-001).
